Monochrome: describes paintings, drawings, design, or photographs in one color or shades of one color
My life is full of color. we have three beautiful daughters who are very colorful. My husband is very colorful, and even our truck is very colorful (see here: http://www.dunesstreetphotography.com/2011/05/so-what-did-you-do-on-your-sunday.html)
Well today i needed the girls and I to get out of the house. its saturday and we were all going a little crazy just sitting inside. at first, the two oldest did NOT want to go on a little bike ride around town. however, I overruled them. I needed to get out, and i needed to get out with my camera with my Marco lens. I have a passion for taking pictures of God's creation, especially in nature, and especially plants and flowers. so we set off, with the two oldest complaining. well with in about 5 minutes, everyone was stoked to be outside! even our youngest was content.
I usually take photos in color. i love color. but i have a dear friend that does amazing photography and a lot of time she doesn it in monocrhome. (see definition above) here is her link, you should really look at it!
well i decided to set my camera up for monochrome photos and take photos. WOW!! i loved what i was seeing! i still took a bunch in color. but the next few posts will have some of the photos i took this morning, in different shades and colors.
