these actually worked!! we used dark chocolate chips and good quality balloons.
first, melt chocolate chips in the microwave, just enough to melt most of them, mix the chocolate until smooth. make sure the chocolate isnt too hot, or the balloons may pop.
second, after blowing up the balloons just enough to make a small bowl shape on the bottom, dip balloons into chocolate. use a spoon to spread more on if you want. put on parchment paper.
third. stick in fridge for a few hours.
fourth. SLOWLY cut balloons. let the balloons sit in the chocolate for a little bit, then pull the balloon out. you can also take the chocolate out of the fridge and wait 5 minutes before you pop the balloon. it can be a little tricky getting the balloon out if you do it while the balloon and chocolate are still cold.
fifth. Get some yummy ice cream and enjoy!!
